Freedom from food issues and or having complete freedom and a loving relationship with food is based on principles and not your personality.
Your personality will plan and plan and plan and look and look and look for what will work so you can lose some weight and not feel so shameful about how you look and feel. It will try any special diets, pills, doctor, medicines, alternative therapies, and many other constant, chronic shamebased ideas to make you think you need to do something b/c you feel so bad about what you ate or didn't eat and or ESPECIALLY how you look.
Having a loving free relationship with food is always new, fresh, and spontaneaous. The main principle is this...
ARE YOU READY???
1) I feel free to eat any food... in any amount...in any manner, at anytime .
I completely trust b/c I am sober from all mind altering drugs and b/c I spend time nuturing a relationship with a God of my underdtanding on a daily basis that what food ideas and or foods show up each day and what I end up putting in my mouth is exactly what my God whants me to eat.
This is a big deal... I know it has taken me many years of sobriety and many years of meditation to completly surrender my eating to the God of my understanding.
2) Food is chosen and eaten b/c it is DESIRED ... NOT b/c I SHOULD!
I desire fullfillment from food just like I desire fullfillment from God.
May you love your food as much as you love God!
In Faith,
Tleigh

Underlying Conditioning
Hi Everyone... in search of freedom from food issues.... YES!
Underlying conditioning, our programming so to speak, that drive us to hurt ourselves in our relationship with food are... ready...
1) Pride
2) Vanity
3) Fear
4) Abandoment
5) Neglect
What Are We Afraid Of ???????... Great Question!
I have found these beliefs to be the main program we all run off of in our moment to moment relationship with ourselves and food based out of our conditioning.
1) THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME...( self centered fear and false pride).
2) I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH... ( false pride.. false vanity, self centered fear)
3) IT'S GOING TO BE BAD. ... ( Self centered fear)
4) IT'S GOING TO HURT... ( self centered fear)
5). I AM GOING TO BE ALONE.. ( Self centered fear abandoment)
These are LIES... They completely destroy all emotional, physical, mental and spiritual experience of Freedom.
Now, fairly easily most of us have some ability to take in these ideas and think Ok all I have to do is not believe the lies. Yet I have found it is easier said or thought than created. By created I mean truly developing an experience of loving all food thoughts and bites of food you put in your mouth. This is the ultimate goal. Loving your relationship with yourself and food and feeling deeply free in that love.
At this time though, when thinking about eating, feelings about what you want to eat and or have eaten or not gotten to eat and or eating food comes chained with the five beliefs listed above....again
1) there is something wrong with me
2). I am not good enough
3) Its going to be bad.
4) its going to hurt.
5) I am going to be alone.
The insidiousness of this programing is so deep that for most of us with food issues it will not lessen without spiritual help. Hence I refer back to the first post. Sitting in stillness is the most efficient and effective action to reprogramming our belief system. AND it is noty effective if we are not physically sober from all alcohol, narcotics and marijuanna. Sitting in stillnes is the action of surrendering... a physical action... and it is my belief we have been given a body to work with and by working with our bodies so follows our mind, emotions and spirit. Then the Fearful, Prideful, Vain, Negelcted, Abandoned bricks can begin to fall apart. As they loosen, Freedom from food issues begins to grow .YEA!!!!!!

Ingredients
Welcome, Welcome, Welcome...
Freedom from food issues is real and possible.
Ingredients
1) There is one non-negotiable ingredient., meaning it has to be in place for freedom to exist and that is complete sobriety from all alcohol, wine, beer, drugs, and marijauna. Any narcotics used regularly and or for chronic prolonged use may hinder freedom from food issues. Any and all 12 step programs are highly reccommended for help with this ingredient.
2) Once well established in sobriety a wllingness and discipline to sit in stillness for 40 minutes to an hour a day most days, like 95% of your living breathing days is necessary. This can be done in two 20 or 30 minute sessions... two or three 20 minute i.e. in any combination that falls into place for your circumstances each day.
While not an absolute absolute like ingredient #1, ingredient #2 is practically as much an absolute and or critical.
Why you may ask?
Philosophically speaking, we have to, to the fullest extent possible, impersonalise anything and everything having connection to ourselves and any food we may or may not put in our mouths in any given moment.
Once these ingredients are well in place our freedom from food issues begins to grow.
The next post will be about the underlying conditioning/programing fueling our pain , guilt, shame, and imprisonment with food issues where no freedom exists.
Any questions or comments are welcome...
